Find the card before making a correction
Use Searching eCards to locate the existing record. Confirm which details are wrong with the student. Keep the eCard code, course type, course date, current information, and corrected information available.
Do not issue a second card just to fix a spelling mistake or an email address.
Instructor help with an unclaimed card
Locate the student’s record in the AHA eCards tool and check the actions available to your role. If an edit or email correction option is available, review the proposed correction carefully and save it. If the field is locked or no correction option appears, contact LMT so we can coordinate with the Training Center.
After a correction, confirm the saved information before using any available resend option. Ask the student to review the details before claiming.
Students: request a correction to a claimed card
- Open AHA’s student eCard search and find your card using your eCard code or your name and the email used for the card.
- Answer the security question and open your eCard.
- Choose Edit, enter the corrected personal information, and select Save Changes to send the request to your Training Center.
- Contact the Training Center if the request remains pending. Once approved, open the card again to check and download the updated copy.
When to contact LMT
Contact [email protected] for a locked record, a course date or instructor correction, or help with a pending request. Include the eCard code and the exact correction needed. LMT will coordinate Training Center review as needed.
