Meets American Heart Association BLS Provider requirements for initial certification and renewal.
At Last Minute Training, we offer in-person Basic Life Support (BLS) classes for healthcare providers and other professionals who need to respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies in both pre-hospital and clinical settings. This American Heart Association-certified course is ideal for nurses, EMTs, dental professionals, medical assistants, and anyone working in a healthcare environment.
The BLS course focuses on high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, including the use of an AED and effective team-based resuscitation. Participants will learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, perform chest compressions and rescue breaths, and work as part of a coordinated team in multi-rescuer scenarios. The training also covers relief of choking and the importance of early defibrillation and high-performance CPR.
Led by experienced emergency responders, our BLS classes provide hands-on, scenario-based practice in a supportive and engaging environment. Training follows the most recent AHA guidelines and typically takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard, valid for two years.
