For Training Sites
BRINGING BACK THE INSTRUCTION COMMUNITY
To address the growing issues of limited accessibility to CPR/AED courses and prolonged waiting times for roster processing, Last Minute Training is fully committed to resolving the efficiency challenges faced by American Heart Association courses in our community. Collaborating closely with our Training Center, our goal is to empower Training Sites to maximize their autonomy by utilizing all available tools. In a short span of time, we have achieved significant improvements, including a substantial reduction in eCard wait times, enhanced flexibility for students with unconventional schedules, and a more balanced cost for course participation.
This section offers a diverse range of tutorials designed to assist our Sister Training Sites in their day-to-day operations and the ongoing management of an American Heart Association Training Site. If there are specific tutorials you would like to see, please don't hesitate to contact us through the [Contact Us] section. We will make every effort to incorporate that information and cater to your needs.
ATLAS NETWORK TUTORIALS
ALIGNING INSTRUCTORS
One of the new features of the ATLAS network is that Training Sites can add their own instructors and manage instructor information on the AHA Side. In the long run, this should help reduce the load on Training Centers, but it adds an additional level of administration to the Training Site Coordinator role. Here is a brief video that describes the process of aligning an instructor with the Training Site.
ERROR WHEN ADDING AN INSTRUCTOR
An error may occur when adding an instructor for several reasons, and the error code generated should provide some help as to what the issue may be. Some of the possible issues are:
The instructor is using a different email address for their ATLAS account than the one being entered - To fix this issue you can either ask the instructor what email address they use to log into their account, or attempt the alignment by using their instructor number. We have had the most success by using a mixture of both.
The instructor does not have a current instructor card within the ATLAS network which results in an error that states "The Instructor Listed doesn't have an active discipline for alignment." Or something similar, the best solution for this situation can be found in the "Adding an Initial Instructor Course" Video Below.
ADDING AN INITIAL INSTRUCTOR COURSE
A huge benefit to the new ATLAS Network is that Training Sites can now process Initial Instructor Courses and Instructor Renewals from start to finish without the assistance of the Training Center. This does add an additional level to our record keeping process and potential audits, but a lot of strain on our local training network. Follow the video below for an explanation on how to enter "Initial Instructor Courses" on the Atlas Network.
