At Last Minute Training, we are proud to offer in-person Heartsaver® Pediatric CPR AED and First Aid classes, certified by the American Heart Association. This course is specifically designed for those who care for infants and children, making it the goto choice for preschool and daycare staff, babysitters, nannies, new and expecting parents, camp counselors, and anyone responsible for the health and safety of young children.
The training covers essential life-saving skills including infant and child CPR, proper AED use, and how to assist a choking child or infant. In addition, the course provides comprehensive instruction in pediatric first aid, such as how to manage bleeding, burns, allergic reactions (including EpiPen use), broken bones, sprains, asthma attacks, poisoning, seizures, and heat or cold-related emergencies.
Classes are led by experienced EMS instructors in a hands-on, supportive environment and follow the latest AHA guidelines. Most sessions are completed within 4 to 6 hours, depending on class size and pace. Upon successful completion, participants receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED eCard, which is valid for two years.
