blended learning

The American Heart Association's Blended Learning coursework is highly flexible, and can be finished at the student's own pace. Blended Learning means that the student completes the AHA's online coursework for their required course, then meets with a certified AHA Instructor for a skills session. This skills session is brief, usually taking around 15 to 30 minutes to complete. Once done, students are awarded the same course completion eCard that they would receive through traditional classroom based training.

complete the online portion

To complete the online portion, follow these simple steps:

PAY the skills session fee

For blended learning skills sessions, we charge a registration fee of $35 per student, regardless of the course type. This is in addition to the course purchased through the American Heart Association's eLearning website. We prefer that students pay their participation fee through the Payment Portal link below. However, we will also accept cash or check at the time of training.
